Well MMamdouh I will look again to see if I can find it. And yes I was referring to the one from the valve cover to the intake. And in that pic, that was the first place I looked when I was gonna replace it over a year ago. I have even replaced that hose since I bought the car. But I just can not se...

first off... locate that oil leak, i can't see how a leaky oil cap or cam cover gasket gets oil on the cooling fans, i recon this is more serious than just a cam cover gasket. make sure the car got enough oil before attempting to start the engine. make sure the PCV is not blocked... if it is then a...

well i'd say if you can get it to an autozone or have someone come out with a OBD-II code reader that would help out a lot, probably. that way if it did through a CEL at one point the it would read it and tell you the problem. nick I wish I could get it to an autozone. It will not even leave my gar...

it sounds like you need a valve cover gasket. there are rubber gasket rings that go aroudn the spark plugs and they go bad and iol will get down inside the plug holes, and it will fowl out th spark plugs. pull your plug wires off (one at a time) and see of the spark plug well is full of oil. Thanks...

Big issues w/ my 2000 Lanos 1.6L
Let me start by saying my car has been sitting for about 3 weeks. It apparently has a serious issue now and I do not know where to begin troubleshooting it. I guess I will start at the beginning. About a month ago I noticed that oil was getting all over everything. It appears to be mostly comming fr...

I already have a couple of those tools and tried the disconnect tool first. I have one for most GM and one for most Ford vehicles. It still would not come off. And after the fact, I realized that the new filter was not designed the exact same as the factory one. So the new one clipped into the metal...

fuel filter
I am replacing the fuel filter on my 2001 Lanos. I looked at the how to section but I have an issue. The outlet was exactly as the how to described but the inlet is different type of fitting. I do not know why it is like this. I have looked at many sites and they all say both ends should have the sa...

Thanks for the quick reply. I breifly looked under the car earlier around the evap canister and all visible lines. I did not see any type of leak(wetness) unless it is evaporating right away. But I will check the lines again. Anything else that should stand out from the ordinary to look for if there...

Smell gas and hissing sound
Hello again all, I have a issue that just arose today with my fiance's lanos. There is a smell of gas inside the car and when you get out you can smell it in the rear. I can also now hear a hissing sound that I did not hear before underneath from the rear. It also makes this noise when the ignition ...
