VGIS = Variable Geometry Intake System If I gather correctly, the system is controlled based on the RPM window set forth by the engine. If your scenario, BosnianLanos, is correct in that the signal wire is always transmitting the "ON" signal, it stands to reason that your ECU/ECM is either acting up...

Hello,

Does this nitrous kit come with all the controls and switches? I'm asking in regards to the WOT switch, perhaps a window switch, and maybe the switches for purge and fire. Thank you!

I took it off my nubi, and I didn't have one on the firewall. I also know that some of the Lanoses didn't come with them on the firewall. Also, something to consider is that the surface area of the hood and the amount of sun exposure it sees makes the paint side far hotter than the engine bay side a...

could also be a mixed up vaccuum line. check to make sure they all go where they should. I own a Nubira, so this is a stab in the dark, but I recall reading through some past threads where people had suggested removing a vaccum line from the control unit. The general consensus was that it would clo...

If the engine is stuttering and such, I would look at all the spark plugs. It sounds as thought one of them is fouling (and thus the car is mis-firing). Just take them out and look for a nice brown color on each one. If one looks charred (black) or melted, or covered in oil... replace the sparkplugs...

the reason the warning lights on a car are red is to alert you to the problem in the car. they are there so that if you see a red warning, you should NOT drive the car. take it to a place that will scan it (autozone) and see what they say is teh check engine light. i bet the oil pressure is an issue...

check you oil, i'm new to daewoos, but in dohc engines, a ticking (and similar noises) can be attributed to lack of hydralic adjustment since there isn't enough oil to move the tappets around.

check your oil and replace it if you need to. better to have a little too much than too little oil.
