I had my 2000 Lanos checked at auto zone. one time the check light was on the other time it was not on. It is supposed to store the codes. mine did. hope this helps.

My car sounds like it is running on 2or3 cylinders when it first starts when cold. the rest of the day it runs good. the missing only last about 1or2 min. it also smell like it is flooded at that time.
