Re: Aveo with Ecotec project - HELP!

Well, I want a dependable, fuel-efficient commuter, so I can get to and from work each day with out spending a ton of money on gas.

Not much of a racer, I obey the speed limit and conserve my fuel.

And maybe upgrade to a better, larger displacement engine?? (One can hope.)

Re: Aveo with Ecotec project - HELP!

Well, you know anyway I could get the car up there without spending a fortune?

And I think my tight budget is a little too little from what I'm seeing... around $2000 total is all I can scrape up. :doubt:

Aveo with Ecotec project - HELP!

My Aveo broke its timing belt and at least bent the valves... So at minimum it needs a rebuild, at max its toast. Well, this is an opportunity to do one of two things, swap in an Ecotec, or junk the car. The swap will cost me, but how much? The other won't get me much money, and I'll have to buy a c...

Testing Waters: Project Aveo for sale

So I haven't done anything on my car in a couple years, lost the drive, job, and extra income. So I'm selling the car for something complete. Not that my Aveo isn't drivable, I use it daily, but there are a few started things here and there I don't have time or money to finish. It also includes ALL ...

Shift Linkage HELP!

Can someone measure this part for me? Mine has broken twice and is currently "rigged" to stay on until I get it replaced.
I have a 2004 Chevy Aveo 1.6L with manual transmission

I need the measurement because there may be a full metal replacement available.

Thanks for your help!

Need engine covers 1.6L

Anyone got some spare under hood parts I could use? Namely I need the 1.6L engine cover, any visible caps, and the strut tower cover caps.

I have a 2004 Aveo HB, but I'd prefer a Daewoo Lanos engine cover if possible.

Thanks for looking. Contact me through any of my listed contact info.

Hoods are a future possibility, but the cost of tooling and molding is so much greater that they want to see interest in smaller products first. After they get some good results, they are more then willing to produce larger items like hoods or trunks/hatches.

I bought the 2004 SEMA Aveo from them back in 2006. Jim (owner) was very professional about it and even delivered the car to my house since he was visiting Arizona. Few months back I asked for a price on replacement grommets for my short ram intake and he just ended up mailing them to me. I would hi...
