Car bogs under light load... Fuel pump dying?
I have a strange problem with my car. When i start the engine and let it idle it works perfectly fine. When i hold the throttle down slightly the revs climb slowly then at 2.5-3k rpm the car bogs out pretty badly. Under heavy load or WOT it runs perfectly fine. It only bogs out under low rpm, low lo...

Re: Measuring piston ring gap?
I went out and measured the old rings as they were not damaged, the gap is .008 on the old rings, so i guess it's .008" afterall

Measuring piston ring gap?
How do you measure piston ring clearance? The specs say .008 inches per inch of bore or .008 mm per mm of bore Bore size is 86 mm or 3.386 inches I bought a feeler gauge that reads .008 I know the procedure you need to do, its the actual measurement im not sure about, just gap the ring at .008? Or d...

Re: Megasquirt control of coilpack?
Yeah well at over 1000 dollars just for the v3 ecu and wiring harness thats a little expensive for me, that's twice the price i paid for the megasquirt.
I really like that it uses megatune tho as im already familiar with it but for now its way out of my budget

Megasquirt control of coilpack?
Hey guys, i've recently figured out how to wire in my megasquirt in my 2.0 turbo project thru the crank sensor which means i would be able to run stand alone spark control. I'm not quite sure how i should do this tho, would someting like an MSD ignition controler (MSD 6A for example) be able to fire...

Re: Wanted: 2.0L U20SED Turbo Manifold
Well right now i'm not in a hurry to get one, i ordered an oil scavenge pump to help push the oil back into the oil pan, which will eliminate the oil return problem. A true nicely done tubular manifold would be way more eye candy tho when you open the hood. Let me know how your prototype turns out G...

Re: Engine Interchange
The difference is drive by wire throttle body, just swap in your cable driven throttle body from your 2004 and you are all set. You might also need to use your 2004 injectors, as i've swapped to a newer engine myself and the injectors had a different connector, but thats easy to do as well. The rest...

Re: Nubria 2.0 Timing belt won't go on!
http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/ebrock63/2008-09-11_172451_timing_belt.pdf You don't need to touch the water pump, you can play with the tentioner using an allen key. The easiest way i found is to start the belt from the intake cam gear, work your way down thru the water pump, tensionner and the c...

Re: Intimidator's tuning parts
This thread is over 3 years old.... intimidator is long gone im affraid If you want stiffer mounts fill then with urethane or something like that, you own a Daewoo, not a Honda where you can find parts at your local convenience store ;) You need to improvise. As far as as the short shifter, ive seen...
