I'm using a custom intake manifold made by one of the guys that builds engines for john force. 8) 75mm throttle body and 3" charge piping. I'm trying to route my charge piping the shortest distance possible with as little bends as possible. Thanks for the info on the alternator. That sounds interes...

Is there any information that you could give me on the alternator and alternator brackets? Is this something that bolted to the C20get block or does it utilize the head bolts? Are there any cars in america I could find this on? I'm trying to get my alternator out of the way to run charge pipes aroun...

Any help you can offer me in locating thsoe forged rods for $350? That would be much appreciated! I found an even better headgasket as well. I am using a cometic MLS headgasket part# H1184. After blowing a headgasket on my first bottom end and spinning a bearing when I lost oil pressure at 5k rpm, i...

The zex system has a nozzles that sprays directly into the intake from the top of the cone. http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/images/products/82143_m.jpg The nozzle points straight into the intake as you can see and never really touches the foam of the coin. Spraying the foam might actually freeze ...

wouldn't even look like a purge, the pressure differentual isn't great enough to make the kind of cloud that nitrous makes. What you would have is a 1ft tall spray of barely noticable gas that makes almost no sound.

Eh, that is still debatable. I'm only going to swap to a 16v head if I can't break 500whp without nitrous using the 8v head at 30ish psi. I don't plan on it really. JFWI, the transmission has been swapped to a getrag. As of ye...

Yes, the company that makes the filter is ZEX. NOS is a company, not the actually chemical you are using. Please just say Nitrous. (Not to nit-pick but that bugs me sometimes.) Your idea with frosting the filter wont do much of anything. You would actually be likely to get laughed at if you popped y...

Oh I think you took it wrong. I am not putting factory C20let rods in my block. I am planning on putting aftermarket C20let rods into my block with aftermarket C20let pistons to custom specs. This way I get the floating wrist pins, but I was also wondering if the bolts they came tapped for were thic...

C20get - C20let pistons and rods quesitons

I've had a little fun with my balanced fresh bottom end in my sunbird. I was saddened to say the least to find that the stock rod bolts could only handle around 250hp so I have run no more than 10psi from my 35psi capable turbo and have not touched my nitrous. I'm troubled. I'm ready to park it agai...

In all honesty, I didn't even read their formula before posting that site, I just ran a quick search for something and figured it couldn't be too far off. There are some flaws in that formula. I have my own formula that I use but it is on paper, not the computer and I didn't feel like typing it. 8) ...

Chris, the formula I posted is a map, that means it is two dimensional. It uses RPM as one of the figures so there is a direct relation from te given VE to the speed of the engine, thus is changes. Without flow benching the head, there is no way to get an exact VE, but a good guess is not very far o...

http://www.lovehorsepower.com/MR2_Docs/compressor_flow_maps.htm This is a better link showing an example of compressor mapping. If you need any help doing the equation just let me know and I will help you with it. While mapping you also want to do a google search and get compressor maps for and tur...

You should really do a compressor map before you throw down that much money for a turbo. You could also probably find a better deal on any one of those turbos if you look around.
