timing belt alignment

HI,

Is the timing belt replacement is the same as on a 1.6 16 valve DOHC. (for a Nubira 2.0....)

60K Km is a bit low for the timing belt to break... to check for bent valves, have your mechanic do a compression test on each of the cylinders. Besides that, yes it is possible the timing belt was not aligned properly. Hi, Thanks for your reply, here you mean the the new timing belt was not aligne...

Hi, I did stall last week driving in a very low speed in the parking lot of a shopping center and could not start the engine. I had the car tow to the garage and they told me that it is your timing belt, so later in the week the mecanic did replace the timing belt and the water pump. When I went to ...
