Re: T20/T22 short-runner intake manifold
extension tube and throttle body, top picture is old small tube and 52mm throttle body, but shows how it fits. Bottom picture is actual tube currently in use, 2.5" tube and 2.5" (64mm) GM throttle body with stock GM TPS and IAC (sensors).

Daewoo 2.0 or 2.2 short-runner intake manifold
I have for sale one (1) short-runner intake manifold to fit the T20/T22 engines. I built this manifold using a stock unit, cut off the runner, machined them exact same length (8" long) and built a large plenum for it. You can mount a throttle body in the stock location or use my custom inlet pipe an...

Daewoo 2.0 or 2.2 turbo manifold/header-style
I have for sale one (1) header-style turbo exhaust manifold to fit the T20/T22 cylinder head. It is a custom-made T3 header which fits the turbo tight against the engine. It has a 1/2" steel flange, four tubes, and a flange for external wastegate. It is black ceramic coated. It is used. It produced ...

Re: Pontiac/Daewoo hybrid turbo project complete... DYNO NUMBERS
That is a very nice system, but 448euro is about 750usd! I like my distributor and batch. As I said, it is making over 100hp/cyl on .5bsfc and good timing. This is a well-used 2.2 with CAST pistons and CAST rods! This car is driven daily and gets 23-26mpg, not bad for batch-fire. When I install the ...

Re: Pontiac/Daewoo hybrid turbo project complete... DYNO NUMBERS
What electronics are you using? I see a lot of not needed hardware on the engine... Loose that distributor for ignition sparks and put some wasted spark coil pack or a coil over plugs, like I did. Put some real after market ECU like VEMS and open the all potential of that engine... As I can see you...

Re: Pontiac/Daewoo hybrid turbo project complete... DYNO NUMBERS
Did you advance the ignition to much? Is the connecting rod stock or forged? C20GET, C20XE, C20LET have a very weak bottom end.. Not so weak, it lived to over 400hp and the only reason it broke was detonation caused by low octane fuel I had in the car one time only. I was not even racing, only driv...

I wanted to build a long rod 2.0, basically a destroked 2.2 (btw, the 2.2 is approx 9mm taller deck, not 1mm) It would take a real long rod, which these engines need anyway. The R/S taio is dismal, 1.54 on the 2.2 and a little better 1.66 on the 2.0. What The 2.0 need is the taller deck 2.2 with a 1...

Thanks! The two holes adjacent to the water pump housing are used in the Pontiac for a rear engine mount. However, missing from the 2.2 is a third bolt just above and between the other two. I think I can make it work by welding a brace on the engine mount bracket and bolting it up somewhere else on ...

I wanted to update this thread... I reached my goal, but on WAY less boost than imagined! On "only" 17psi, it ultimately made 375whp! That is with a custom short-runner intake manifold, QED intake cam and an incredible tune (by me). But the weak link reared it's ugly head this weekend. The #3 rod ej...

NEED PICS OF 2.2 DAEWOO ENGINE BLOCK!
I need some pictures of the 2.2 Daewoo engine block to compare to the 2.0L Pontiac block. I want to put the 2.2 in my 88 Grand Am. I have a 2.2 Isuzu truck block and it is missing two bolt holes on the back, adjacent to the water pump housing. These bolt holes are used for the rear engine mount on m...

Overall, the gasket looks amazing - I cant comment yet on seealing LOL I will know in a month. HEY TOM, your engine is a freak of nature LOL! Actually, looks quite familiar... more on that later I can speak for the seal of the Z20LET gasket. After 29psi at 4000rpm ("oops" wastegate accident) it sti...

Who built the manifold originally? Was it intended for another engine and modified with a 'woo flange? It looks like a pretty nice piece, despite the w.g. breaking off. What kind of power are you making and what boost now? What are the specs on the turbo? All you say in your sig is T3/T4. I am most ...
