Please, we need a better search function!

I find that using a search engine like google, just enter "site:daewootech.com" and what you are looking for.

I am guessing that you have an aftermarket alarm. Find the control box see if the make and model is on it then Google that. I haven't ever seen a OEM alarm Daewoo that chirps the horn when activating the alarm.

If the toe-in is increased, it can counter this. I successfully did this on my Leganza whose front bearings are worn, one is making noise too. Three months later tires wear perfectly even for the first time since getting the car. BUT, try telling any alignment shop to do that, and they won't do that...

Nope. If the steering arm is moving within the 'rack, replace the rack. If the rack moves, tighten the rack mounts. This means you "should" do an alignment, but you can at least get it close to drive, or if you are good you can set the toe good enough you don't need an alignment. Me, I "read" the ti...

Although I am a big fan of taking stuff apart and fixing, but why don't you find a pick and pull yard and get another MC? I'm sure it would be $20 or so. All Leganza's in the US have ABS, unless it has a manual transmission, which is very rare.

Once this happened on my old Lanos. I had connected battery while the ignition was on, and it started slamming gears, (computer glitch) so I reset the ECU properly, fixed it for me. Might or might not work for you, but this can't hurt, its somewhat of a tuneup for it: Reset the ECU, Let car warm up,...

Noisy top end? As in lifter click? The only lifter click I know on these motors is after the car hasn't been started in a while. That's when there is a slow lifter that hasn't pumped up yet. It is loud, but temporary. Better find out what that is. Rod knock is quiet on these motors... A weak Oil pum...

PLEASE no caps. Save work, *don't* remove the fuel rail. Instead: Remove the brace for the intake. (located beneath it) (I like to throw said brace away, but that's just me!) Unplug hoses from intake. Remove Alternator bracket. Grab a 13 socket and long extension. Unbolt all the intake bolts. Whole ...

Sentences, please! Your car is worth $500 as is or $1800-$2000 fixed. Weigh pro's and con's to decide. You can buy 4 valves and use a free rent-a-valvetool (Checker) and reassemble, with new gaskets and head bolts. The damage to the head is usually minimal which makes this possible. What kind of pis...

The only thing camber issues on these cars could be is Wheel Bearings. Unless you are running aftermarket springs Or maybe accident damage. Very common problem.

Good point. I live in a place where it goes months without rain. I believe you can buy a exaust gas tester from NAPA. Its just for detecting BHG's. It changes color if there are exaust fumes in the cooling system. That would be a smoking gun, I think. Maybe you should wait until you are able to put ...

Update, p0300 seems to set when coasting, or light throttle. Neutral and reving, back to Constant CEL. Also It will set the code in Park if Rpms are held at 2500 or above. The light flashes with steady throttle, light constantly on during deceleration. The light is always Constant when revving in pa...

Remove and inspect the small elbow on the driver front corner of the valve cover. Mustard will be there Before it shows on the oil cap or dipstick or even the coolant reservoir. That is good enough to be the smoking gun. A water pump whose bearings are bad enough to inhibit coolant flow is capable o...
