Lanos Parts for Sale - Bargain Basement Prices
Hey guys! It's been a while since I've been on the forums, but I'm sure some of the old guard still remembers me. I sold my last Daewoo ('01 Sport) last summer and I've since moved on to Land Rovers and Hondas. I still miss my Lanos though and if the buyer and I ever cross paths again I'll buy the c...

Lanos Sport Trans Clutch Size? Where to buy? Experts help!
My Lanos clutch finally went. It gave up the ghost at roughly 85,000 miles after 4.5 years of pretty "spirited" driving. I'm looking to buy a new one to throw into the car ASAP. However, which size clutch should I get? I know that there have been various discussions on the forum which basically came...

Re: Lanos Sport M/T Problems. Clutch? Bearings?
I would like to get an upgraded transmission, but I'm in the USA and my options are limited. The transmission I have in the Sport works great for me...now if only the clutch would listen.

Re: Lanos Sport M/T Problems. Clutch? Bearings?
Car has just over 80,000 miles on it. Right about the 130,000km mark. I've had the car since early 2006, I learned to drive manual transmission with it...and I'm pretty sure all of my nitrous shots at WOT didn't help. I also felt that over the course of the last few weeks, my clutch "bite point" has...

Lanos Sport M/T Problems. Clutch? Bearings?
Hey guys! Problems again...sadly... This time my manual transmission seems to be the culprit. Last week, coming home for university, I was driving down one of the major interstates in the area and my clutch slave cylinder went out. Pedal fell to the floor and all the fluid leaked out past the piston...

Urethane Filled Motor Mounts. Easy upgrade for everyone!
Hey guys! I'm back! I've managed to finally get around to doing some routine maintenance on my car after letting it get quite out of shape. I'm quite impressed with the results. All work done on 2001 Daewoo Lanos Sport M/T A few weeks ago, I noticed that my motor mounts were shot. I could feel it in...

Lanos Sport Sway Bar Size?
I recently purchased urethane sway bar bushings for my Lanos. I researched online and on the forum to see what the OEM sway bar size was and I arrived at the conclusion that it was a 3/4" diameter bar (19mm). However, when I jacked the car up to actually do the work, the sway bar size was considerab...

Re: What is the Correct Fuel Pressure, 2001 Lanos?
Yes, I meant when there is less vacuum, like when the throttle plate is opened.
The OEM FPR adjusts itself to changes in vacuum. The new one has a vacuum line as well that causes a spike in fuel pressure once the throttle is depressed.

What is the Correct Fuel Pressure, 2001 Lanos?
Does anyone know what the OEM fuel pressure should be for a Lanos? I'm talking about the pressure of the actual fuel in the lines(in PSI for us Americans, kPa for everyone else!). I've been running an Aeromotive FPR for the last year or so and I just want to know if I've dialed it in right...I forgo...

Re: Any Luck Getting These to Fit the Lanos 1.6?
Xiaogary, I have actually been very interested in buying the headers that you sell, provided that you still have them! The ebay price is $269+$99 shipping. Any chance that you'll provide a Daewootech discount??? Lol! :D I will be getting in touch with you over the next 2 weeks to arrange payment and...

Any Luck Getting These to Fit the Lanos 1.6?
What are the odds that these will fit on my Lanos Sport 1.6 5-Spd? The spark cover description say's that it fits a Z16 Opel motor. How similar is this to the A16 Daewoo motor? http://www.courtenaysport.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=188 If the spark cover won't fit, can anyone direct me to ...

Replacing Brake Lines and Brake Fluid
About a year ago I bought custom-made SS-Braided brake lines from a forum member, and I finally may get around to installing them this weekend. I don't anticipate any headaches replacing the brake lines (loosen banjo bolt, loosen line from steel hardline), but my main concern is bleeding the brakes ...

Strange Rain Leak in Lanos
I had gone out west for vacation, leaving the Lanos sitting for a couple of weeks. Florida has had some NASTY rainstorms over the last couple of weeks, and for whatever reason, the car didn't get garaged. Basically, this morning, I get in it to go back to work, and there is a nice SOLID puddle of wa...

Are These Installed Right?
Hey guys! Sorry for the long hiatus. Don't worry, everything's cool, still own both Daewoos, just busy with school (again!) I got the car lowered over summer (June) and as I didn't have the tools or the space to do the work, I had a guy from the local car forums help me out. Poor guy took the whole ...

Bleeding Brakes/Clutch?
My brake pedal has gone soft over the course of the last few months. It started to be worrying a couple of days ago when I noticed I was bottoming out and the pedal was hitting the bump stop on the firewall with anything but the lightest touches. The brakes still work, but gone are the typical Daewo...
