as you may have read in my previous post I did my water pump today. I put tension on as was in the instructions, however this made the belt sing like a birdy and wear on the outside. One more question, is the new belt supposed to be louder? It sounds like I have a turbo. It has quieted down some, anything I should worry about? The car runs great.

Ok, update, I set the tensioner in the center of the Notch, theres plenty of tension on the belt. Theres very little play, I also replaced the tensioner and idler pully. The water pump is only a year old, due to the car only being a year old, yes I put 60k on the car in one year, all highway miles. ...

Anyone know where to buy a gates timing belt?

I can't seem to find anyone who sells gates timing belts for a 2007 aveo. I heard gates is the best so thats what I want. I did google searches and can't find any. Does anyone here know where I can pick one up at a reasonable price? Thanks
