Was all this done (Replacing timing belt, pulling head) with the engine in car or was it pulled out...? I'm looking to replace my head gasket and timing belt and debating on whether or not I should do it myself or pay someone a boat load to do it... Well fellas... come to find out that jerk didn't do a damn thing... I got swindled for $75... I bled all 4 wheels and now she stops on a dime (a daewoo dime anyway)... I'll be visiting that joker jerk first chance I get... but for now I can safely stop and will monitor fluid levels and pedal play......

I've found two part numbers on DaewooUs.com 90235422 & 96312155 ... 03 90235422 CYLINDER A-WHEEL BRAKE . B B S S S 2 447433 Ñ)19.05 03 96312155 CYLINDER A-WHEEL BRAKE . B B S S S 2 447434 Ñ)20.64 The top says Vin Engine Trans To (447433) and the bottom on says Vin Engine Trans From (447434) Not sure...

So they didn't do anything on your car. That's good. Well they supposedly bled the system... I don't believe that to be the case however... they may have bled the master cylinder but not the wheels... It all happened too quick IMHP... unfortunately I wasn't there to see the procedure... but anyway ...

Thanks guys for all you help... I was able to tighten the adjuster by hand and it felt a lot better... I haven't had time to bleed the brakes so I took it up to a lil shop to have em do it for me while I'm at work here... I should have went with my right mind and just waited until I could get to it....

Is there a trick to working these springs or is it all muscle...

Got everything back on... doesn't feel as smooth as the driver side... I have a new problem though... My brake pedal is hitting the floor and almost not stopping... parking brake not effective either...???

If there were no washer behind the castle nut I don't understand why the wheel didn't come off immediatly. Also let me be clear... I could pull the drum over the castle nut with out the outer bearing in place... it won't come off if the bearing is in place and is in good shape... but in my case whe...

I don't know if one type of spindle is stronger than the other but I don't understand that we can loose a wheel like it happened to you. You were lucky. Daniel It looks like with the one piece drum it's actually the washer behind the castle nut that holds the drum in place... not the castle nut dir...

yeah... it looks like the retaining washer behind the castle nut was left off from the previous owner... looks like I have some damage to the wheel cylinder... And the bearings are a real simple job but unfortunately the old outer bearing is stuck on the axle rod... I've finally gotten it to turn a ...

Yeah I am completely grateful that it happen when, where, and how it happened... if it had to happen... Looks as though I'm going go at it myself today... it doesn't seem like a difficult job at all... I'm going to replace both sides while I'm at it... I've got the Inner & Outer Bearings, cotter pin...

2000 Lanos 1.6L Stock

well... I took the car to a recommended mechanic and when I got there he tells me he can't help me... "It's a Daewoo"... So I leave and head back to my friend's and the rear right wheel comes shooting off on down the road... Now what!? I'll try to post pics for you guys... hopefully ya'll can help.....
