Re: gear box
You can check if the engine mounts are damaged by shifting into 2nd gear, and step into the gas, if you see the shiftstick moving widely, it's a sign of a damaged engine mount(s). or, if you have someone to help you on this and being very careful, one must be on the side of the car, with the hood op...

In that case it shouldn't be as hard as re-wiring a fuse-box. However I still think that it's easier...

Re: MY AVEO!!! (daewoo's Kalos)
Nice looking car! I agree with what's said above, swaping the tranny takes a lot of work and you may need to mod some things on your car other than the gearbox and the stick.
Again I really like your car, congratz!

Re: Fiat 127 car restoration (my former car)
So, I had the car, I had the books, and I had this old brochure from the early 90's to guide me on how the car had to look like: http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/1382/00005e.jpg *You may or may not understand why I did this, and you may even think "why on such a cheap car"... I lived a lot of hist...

Fiat 127 car restoration (my former car)
I got this car from my father like I don't know... 12 or 14 years ago, and since I was "young and wild and free" i made a lot of mods to it on the engine and gearbox, suspension, brakes, wheels, lights, audio, etc... and the car was looking like this: On the outside...
