may have to check and clean the IAC valve, have searched a few posts and seems to be a common prob causing unsteady idle.
But i would guess it would be the same when the aircon is on, but it idles well with A/C on.

Got her running, but pulsates on idle- but when air con is turned on she idles great , at the same rpm.
check engine light hasnt come on yet.
any clues.
