E stands for "euronorm", earlier standard for exhaust emissions in europe. The E16SE uses Bosch Jetronic four point injection and distributor ignition. The C16SE uses Siemens Multec electronic injection and direct ignition. Otherwise the engines are the same.

E16SE

Actually it?s based on E16SE, earlier model of C16SE. The camshaft and valves are stantard. Head is slightly ported. Low compression racepistons from Wiseco, and custom made steel conrods in the bottom. KKK k16 turbo, running 25 psi boost does the job. I believe it?s capable for over 330 hp, but the...
