turns out, I shook the muffler and the rattle was coming from the catalytic converter. Half of the inside had came loose and thats what was causing the rattle.

Yeah had to remove the thermostat, mine was stuff aswell, so I replaced that at the same time. Had a slow leak meaning really long warm up times, and when going down mountains it would cool down and drop down to third (auto).

Flush the core out by back-flushing the core by putting a hose on where the thermostat is. Fixed mine, all the gunk came out (Make sure to take the plug out the bottom of the radiator for the water to escape)

Sorry for all the questions, but only the front is getting soft, the rear is fine. Should I just replace the front as the rear seem fine? Would this also be a good time to replace springs all round?

Which shocks would be best for the Leganza?

My front is getting very soft.

I had to take a massive resonator out of the guard haha! Guess it must have two?

Ill block those off tomoz, i reckon it will sound beastly without them, cos just with the cone atm its got a deeper sound to it.

Thanks, atm mine is just attached to the stock fabric/rubber pipe off the airbox. should i put a pipe through the middle of the box to connect the pipes? I have the filter there atm, but I was wanting to keep the stock appearance from the airbox where the air runs through atm.

Would there be any advantage of putting a pipe through the stock airbox to connect the other pipes?

Also, should I remove the resonator near the TB?

Im not sure, they are pretty bad though. I have found replacement shock absorbers, but i don't know if they will be any harder than what i have now. I would like them to be stiffer than stock though. Just ordered a stut bar a few days ago, hoping to get the shocks/and or springs soon though. What wo...

The suspension in my leganza is very soft and floaty on the front, would replacing the springs with aftermarket ones resolve this issue?

Checked the exhaust sheild, and it is tight. I think it may be coming from the Serpentine belt tensioner as it vibrates a lot when im looking at it, and its coming from that area. Another thing with the rattle is, if i turn air-con on, it will rattle loud then subside, and when i turn it off it does...

Putting 98 octane fuel in seems to reduce the knock somewhat, but its there still.

Any suggestions?
