Re: Using Factory Fog light switch with aftermarket fogs.
Looking at the diagrams you have to make extra connections for the front/rear fog light circuit. For the wipers mod you have to check the reference of the wiper relay. If you have the fixed relay 96312300 you must at least replace it by the variable relay 96250544 plus probably some extra wiring. N...

Using Factory Fog light switch with aftermarket fogs.
My Lanos is the base model. No power windows, no clock, no ABS, no fogs, no Cruise, no intermediate wipers, etc. Here is my question: I can buy a MF switch for the Lanos that has the fog light switch on it. Will this simply "plug" into my non-fog Lanos? The Lanos doesn't have the factory fog harness...

Re: LED Upgrades
Nice! I like particularly the license plate light and the 1157 front lights. For the latest is it a single led which is changing colors or still two different? Or in US when the turn light is active the front light is OFF? Also as led are polarised lamps I wonder about polarity and if you have to p...

Well I found the harness for the Digital Clock, unfortunately the only wires it has are the 2 white ones. Now, it the white ones are only for RHD Lanos' why does mine have it?

Re: 1998 Lanos mystery part.
A Lanos owner in Texas not only had their Lanos stolen, but the thief lead the cops on a chase, rolled, and completly totaled it too. Every Window was broken out both bumpers gone.bobbysdad wrote:They seem to be a difficult car steal if one was incline to be to otherwise.

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,

Re: 1998 Lanos mystery part.
I did have the front and rear right side windows broken out on mine back in 2010 but nothing was stolen, the car wasn't even trashed (other than broken glass everywhere).Puddle31 wrote:good point Leo. they probably thought it was some rare sports car..... boy were they confused!

Daewoo CHMSL Mod for LEDs
Back in June I bought 10 1156 Super White LEDs They were bought to replace: 2x Reverse Lights 2x Turn Signals 1x CHMSL (3rd Brake light, etc...) They never worked in the CHMSL here's why: Daewoo reverse the polarity to the bulb. https://driiive.com/assets/cars/18f1021803b6f4f486da7b7c3bbeaacd03bbb5...

LED Upgrades
I will gradually upgrade all my interior lights to LEDs. Where are the bulbs in the climate controls so I can replace those? Is there a better access to the Ash Tray Bulb rather than having to remove the stereo and cup holder to get to it? as far as the cluster goes, Is there an overlay? What I mea...
