Hello everyone.. Im just curious, the 2.2 that came in the leganza here in NAmerica, would it have any relation to the NOW offered 2.2 Ecotec found in the GM j and n bodies? i was wondering if it [the one found in the leganza] was a detuned version of what GM is offering now in there products. I was...

Im from the city that lost the "duel" with Toronto in Game seven the other night  I wouldnt mind selling you my car, but there is one exception.. its being leased, and as such, you'd have to pay for the buyout cost [5600] which i think its too...

Nubira III
Hi all! as we all know the new nubira is being sold under various titles.. chevrolet optra and suzuki forenza.. Question. anyone want to take a guess as to why the HP and Torque ratings for what is essentially the same motor from the last generation is down 10hp and 10ft-lbs? [119hp/126ft-lbs vs 129...

hmm..there is only one thing that baffles me. The Getrag F20 power loss is normally in the range of 40 hp, compared to 25-30 hp loss in the F16. I just cant imagine 94hp loss over the hearbox in the Sunbird - that would mean that completely stock Sunbird turbo would make only 69 hp at the wheels :!...

snip.. BTW, this is the engine from Chrysler SRT-4...stock numbers are 237 whp and 245 lbs of torque  Have you seen the vid of the guy with 501 at the wheels in his srt4? and it's still running the stock clutch! he also claims with more tuning he has an additional 50hp to squ...

the Garrett T25 runs at miniscule 6.5psi. its hardly worth the trouble to throw a turbo on there if your going to run that sort or pressure. Bernard You wouldn't happen to know if the T25 is a ball bearing or is it a sleeve bearing?? I'd really like to find a T25 or T28 ball bearing turbo but I don...

okay.. the mazdaspeed is a real joke for a company like mazda to create. its a backyard "shade-tree" hack job at making a turbo car. You could do a better job by your self than they did! yes they had callaway do it.. but for the price.. no-im sorry no excuses.. the car handles on a dime, but with re...

thats true, if your running a straight-through system.. but with the proper mufflers and a cat you should have the right amount of back pressure so you wont loose any torque! my brother has an A2 Jetta Gli its a 1.8 and he installed a 2.25" exhaust on it.. man that thing flew! not to mention ...

Its interesting that many of the posted legal limits of a cars top speed as stated my the Manufacture, are in most cases false and only there for the insurance companies.. case in point the new dodge Srt4. its top speed is a claimed 150mph. but many have gone 160+ with out anything happening. This c...

Hi Things like fuel pump etc are not make and model sensitive if your going with an aftermarket unit. a walbro 255 would be more than enough for the demands you'd put on your motor. As for Injectors, the nubira and leganza are interchange able, so they are the same, and from what i have been told, w...

[snip]...Given the stock Sunbird 8V ran 165hp (crank) and 175lb ft of torque and it ran at only 7psi to 9psi without an intercooler I think that 200 crank horsepower would be very very easy to make. In fact I bet that jumping it to 12psi with an intercooler would make it run around 230 crank horsep...
