thanks thats a great help...... We did think it was a bit un-usual for a car not to have self- adjusters now, no never did the cylinders they never mentioned them, the reason i asked about the ABS is passenger rear wheel locks when the ABS is activated. Just shows you can't trust any garage.

Oh well the cars now fixed..... turned out to be the throttle position sensor, cost £30 fitted.

Oh and a found out i been looking for an OBD port but this model only has an ALDL port..... save big money now.

Does any one know where the ECU it's urgent as the light has come on out of the blue, and the car is revving at idle and fuel consumption is real bad. the light isn't on at first but comes on if you drive about 2 mile. or quicker of in traffic.

Hi i got a lanos SE, had a new fuel filler to tank pipe fitted because it was cracked, now we also found the fuel gauge not working properly, garage say it's a faulty sender unit but i need to find out if it has a fuel tank inspection plate? Does it have one? if so where is it? otherwise they say it...

Does anyone know where i can get a window motor mechinism for a 2000 lanos 3 door. I tried no end of breakers yards.
