I never implied a Tc was great or the best but come on a Corolla has a 1.8 L not a 2.4 so you have no clue of what your talking about, and I bought the car for longevity, trade in/re-sale value, fuel economy, style and good power. My wife drives a Neon and no matter how fast I do not want one just b...

Saying good bye
I really wanted to continue the efforts on the Forenza projects but due to many service calls due to a.... faulty therm stat/coolant leak/warped head=5 weeks no Forenza. Also in time the rest of the intakes will be on Ebay for those looking. Also months of wasted time trying to get people to commit ...

Yes it is possible. Under NA situations removing all back pressure will decrease torque and bottom end response. It may pep up, and 4500 rpm plus may seem quicker on the top end but you can counter act it by losses in the low end....bogging down etc. That is why dyno charts do not always reflect act...

I agree with Tango. Need to really look at the plugs for oil or other indicators. Could be an O ring issue or fouled sensor. They make some spray for conductivity and cleaning. You should try to hit the plugs and sockets with it and see if you get a bit of time before the problem comes back. Also ne...

I understand going free flow but some back pressure is crucial in the 0-30 MPH range. I have seen especially with base Hondas, people increase 0-60 time due to the reduction in torque being a greater loss than the top end horse power gained "super free flowing" that MAY not actually come till almost...
