Hi guys it cane back from the mechanic guess what it purrs like a kitten, he re done all the wiring going to tps and iacv and running like a bomb.
So that's soughted now onto other things I have a clunk sound when going over a bumpy road any ideas
By the way the car is doing 376000 km

The car came back now the mechanic says there's a short in the wiring and he is going to check it tomorrow morning

Okayy so i got a new sensor today from gm said Cielo lanos esp on the packet gm, I installed it started on 1.5rpm. hi I also thought of adjusting it , but when I took it out I used a flat screwdriver which is similar size to the throttle shaft and tried to turn it but it only swings one way and automatically swings back , it doesn't turn any other way , I don't want to force it the other way because I might brea...

I put the old one back and the voltage is reading .65 closed to 4.9 full open but the old one the catchment area is eaten away . so the wiring is correct

Okay guys i tested the new sensor when the throttle is close it is reading 4.9 and when it is opened it is
0.45 so it looks like it is in reverse how to I get it the other way

Hi another symptom last night was when I pulled into the yard after the drive it was sitting at 1000 revs and than I touched the throttle and it jumped to 2000 revs and stayed there

Hi thanks for the reply, when I took out the old sensor I took it out gently not touching the shafts and when I put the new one I aligned it with the bolts and I slide it in, is there a way I should redo it? I did the 5 second and ten second thing but didn't work I'm going to start it up now and let...

okay so I bought the tps sensor I fitted it , while fitting I noticed the blue wire was exposed so I opened it further and the blue wire was cute before and now joined via solder , anyways I changed the sensor none the less , at the moment its starting on high idle and engine management light is on ...

yeah I do get the economic side of it , but I think the sensors are not to expensive and im so irritated with it right now id do anything , I cant get it to a mech right now due to a car accident theres only one car in the family , still looking for a new one .
