Re: Looking for new front struts
There are only a couple of different types. There are ones for ABS and non-ABS. I am the lucky one with non-abs so mine are a bit cheaper. Usually when you are searching auto parts sites you just have to use the drop down menus. If you still have a question they usually have 800 number for inquires....

Re: Looking for new front struts
So far I have found Partstrain.com for fairly inexpensive struts. They have (order of price, cheapest to expensive) KYB, Monroe and ... shoot forget the third one. I have replaced mine before and found out that if stabilizer links' bolts/nuts are not well grease they rust very badly. So you may need...

Hello daewoofiends
I am looking for relatively inexpensive front struts for my 2000 Nubira. Does anyone recommend a site/supplier for these items?

Re: NEED BOLTS AND NUTS FOR LOWER CONTROL ARM
Thank-you for the diagram it helped me alot. I had to order them through Daewoo North America. The closest place was 100 miles away. The total for the parts was $2.45 but it cost an additional $10.50 to ship via snail mail at 4 to 10 days. LOL

Brake light stop switch
Well I guess I am going to need a new switch. My lights work but I have no brake lights. I checked bulbs and fuses, all are good. I read up on the site here from other same topics. I tried cleaning contacts after removing, still nothing. My local parts store has it in stock for only $12.00 so I will...

Re: Daewoo Nubira SX with drum brakes
That person would be my wife. lol If I had my way I would have had 4 wheel discs, 18 inch rims, turbo charged, forged internals, 100 hp Nos, etc, etc. But since I am a "family man" I have to limit on what I can spend and do to my car.

Daewoo Nubira SX with drum brakes
Yes you read that correctly. lol. I am replacing the drum brakes on my 2000 daewoo nubira sx. The fun part is checking several sites and local parts stores no one has them. What they have listed is daewoo nubira cdx or ls(I think that last one is correct) and they both have disc brakes on rea...

Re: Bushing replacement help
Well I have the new control arm put on. Yep the liberal amounts of penetrating spray and a 3 foot cheater bar is what it took to remove both suspension bolts and 2, end to end, wrenches were needed to remove pinch bolt. I used liberal amounts of anti-seaz compound on all bolts and nuts including str...

Re: Bushing replacement help
Thanks Daniel
Yep, so far I have sprayed all the connecting bolts with penetrating spray, twice. I am letting them soak until part arrives monday or start removing it sunday. Thank-you again for the help. Also nice thing is old lady next door said I can use her 2 car garage to do the work.

Re: Bushing replacement help
To remove the ball joint from the steering knuckle. Do you remove remove the "pinch" bolt from where the balljoint shaft goes through? Then using a balljoint remover, aka fork, and hammer remove the balljoint?

Re: Bushing replacement help
Thank-you for quick response. I will learn from your pain and just order the whole control arm. :) Since you said the rear bolt was a pain to remove I guess liberal amounts of penetrating spray is in order. :) If I remember and am not lazy at time of repair I will take photos for posting. Thanks aga...
