Engine compatibility

Post by crayon »

Hi guys I hot a 54 plate Lacetti that has put a big hole in its bottom block. It is a 1.6, 16v I found a x plate Lanos in a scrapy which is a 1.6. 16v now the block looks the same but mine has the crank senser on the front just under the oil filter and the lanos dont. would this be a problem or dont it matter as long as the wire go's to a crank senser? Guys I really need some help thanks Jamie
