Yeah, if you have a manual tranny any use can use motors that were originally used auto or manual transmissions. For people with auto transmissions, they can only use a motor that was used with auto. Of course unless you changed out the flywheel for a torque convertor. Pretty sure about that.

wait your wording was confusing.. that engine would work on a m/t? but if that engine was already hooked up to a m/t it wouldnt work on an a/t?

it will work either way. you either change it to a flywheel setup or torque converter plate.
