question

if i added a CAI and new spark plugs should i reset the Ecu ??. Not feeling a improvement.

If you added new spark plugs, you should have had to reset the ECU as it's proper for you to disconnect the battery for that.

But if you have not, you should.

well... i don't disconnect by battry while doing a spark plug job but an ECU reset doesn't hurt.

did you gap the spark plugs correctly?
do you have any vacuum leaks through your CAI setup?

yea i did gap the spark plugs correctly. And the CAI piping is fine :?

how many miles were their on the old spark plugs? and what brand?
what is the brand of the new spark plugs?
what was the intake setup before you add the CAI?
what did you expect to feel after the said job and what are you experiancing now?

i dont remmber the miles on the old spark plugs. The new ones are Bosch Platinum. And the old intake was a SRI.

I'm not familiar with how well the Bosch Platinum's work, but I do like the performance from NGK Power Groves (V-Groove). :) I bought mine at a Napa auto parts shop. :)

switching from SRI to CAI won't make a real difference unless you used to drive in traffic and high temps... only then you can feel the superiority of the CAI and a little increase in low end torque as well.

also the spark plugs won't make real difference unless the old ones were too old... most probably all you are getting is normal.
