I've got a Lanos 1.4 date 11/2000 , it only has done 35000 Km.
The problem is that when I accelerate, the engine hesitates for one or two seconds until it reaches a least 2000 rpm.
It seems to have no power at all under those revs. When I change gears up (manual trans),
the rev meter jumps a fev revs up instead of proning to go down as usualy does in any car.
It becomes a quite dificult to drive the car smoothly.
Any suggestions.
I haven´t change the fuel filter or cleaned the TB. Could this be the problem??
Tanks for your answers.
Update :

7- Exact description for the problem. Described above
8- Associated characteristics for the problem (eg. Does is happen when the car gets hot, goes over 60 mph, turning left, A/C on,etc...) , Happens when you start to drive or the revs go under 2000 rpm more or less.
9- CEL status (on, off, blinking) and preferably the DTC code you got after the OBD scan in case the CEL is on/blinking. NO nothings on.

it could be the fule filter and tb, but in a way, it seems electrical or sensor-ish change them and see. then post the outcome.

it could be all what you said and it could be none... we won't be able to tell unless we get more feedback on your engine's service history.

oh and also make sure that all vacume lines and connectors are tight, the engine vibration/ or rougher idle speed below 2000rpm could be shaking an connector or some wires that can make it operate shotty. and i have had experience in that problem by a loose connector at the fuel filter, not enough to leak but enuf to suck air.
