Are you running a factory ECU setup or standalone engine management?
The reason I ask is because the adjustable cam gears are easy to find.... but they don't come with the timing rings for the cam shaft position detector.
This becomes a problem due to the fact that fuel injector timing is based off this sensor.
If you have an aftermarket management system this is not a problem because the reluctor wheel on the crankshaft is more than enough to get a good timing signal.

Look for 1.6L 16V Vauxhall and or Opel parts... I belive that most of the UK cam companies also have vernier pullies (as they call them)...... Kentcams.... SBD does for sure.
I can't remember.... I'm pretty sure there is a distributor for SBD in North America.... can't remember who.
Usually I pick the newer Opel Astra's if they ask for application.... almost allways you will find the 1.6L 16V listed as the standard engine.
