Is this by any chance a crankcase ventilation tube?

Does anybody know if any tubing will do, and what diameter this is?

Well I went to another Advance Auto store and they had some 1 inch heater hose that worked perfectly for about $1.50 compared to $18 for the factory hose from a dealer. The $1.50 also got me 12 inches so I have enough to make another one!
