does the engine reach normal operating temp? is this a problem you have always had or is this a problem that just started after the coolant addition?

if the engine doesnt reach normal operating temp i would bet your thermostat has stuck open and it needs replaceing.

if this is a problem that just started after adding coolant, i hve to ask h ow low was the coolant before you added some? if it was very low or empty ( or if you did a full colant flush) you might still have air in the coolant system.

if it wasnt too low, and it reaches normal operating temp im betting that the heater core is clogged, or one of the lines leading to/from it are clogged.

Since the engine temp is normal you have probably a clogged heater core like mofo said. Try to fluch the heater core only (remove both heater core hoses at firewall) in a reverse coolant fluid direction method. This will better dislodge any mud. Limit pressure to approx 1bar (15PSI).

Make sure all the vacuum hoses are connected properly under the hood i think the heaters may have a vacuum operated heater tap? :?
