i bought some for my 2.0l engine (not 100% sure they fit yet)

they're cheap but a little rough i.e. messy welds and pipe ends not filed down
they should work fine as they are a little big, so it should compensate

The 2.0l has different spacing between ports though.

I am considering making them an offer for a set though, I have to admit. The std GM cast iron item is not that good, but it does show signs of thought!!

no i bought a different set... one for a 1.8 astra but the gasket looks the same and the bend for the sump looks like it will fit

i reckon they would accept $100 or less... I paid $220 for my set at the beginning of the year

Hmmm, just read the Ad again....

"Daewoo Lanos 1.5L EFI DOHC 1995 - 1997 A15MF Extractors"

A bit confusing.!!!

The Manifold flange looks like it may be for 16v head, as the port cut-out is elongated, which usually spells 2 valves per port!!, BUT.. I have seen them like that as part of the porting process on single valve per port too!!

1995-1997 is odd, as My A15MF head is stamped 1998!!.

I believe that they changed them mid-way through 1998 to the 16v Eco-Tec block as well.

Seems a good idea would be to contact them.

The words ... 1.5, DOHC, A15MF & 1995-1997 all in the same sentence is a little unusual methinks?

What head is on your motor then, as the spacing between ports may be an issue caused by the actual geometry of the head, they spread them out something like 3mm more between the 2.0 & 1.8 I think. For sure, the single Exh valve items changed quite a lot between 1.5/1.6 & 1.8 L heads.?

actually, now that you mention it
i believe i emailed them early last year when i still had my 1.5 to ask about this

they told me they would get back to me about fitment and promptly pulled the listing
i had completely forgot until now

and the engine no. for the 1.5 is A15SMS anyway
is yours a MF?

and the 1.6 is A16DMS. maybe it would be a better idea just to give them a miss

Actually, now you mention it, mine must be an SMS..!!!

kinda missed this part.

I remember the yellow sticker under the hood.

The better half has the chariot today, so my memory needs a re-flash!!

I mailed them too yesterday, no reply as yet!

we down to one car for economy reasons. Am doing doctorate, and she uses it for workies as a rule, unless I bag it in the morning.

Flogged the GTR, 4WD and the Jet-ski is off to market now the season has kicked off, weather permitting. I wish I had a spare block from one to graft into the Woo.... man would it move!

Maybe I better get on with making my own again I guess. I let go of last one I made... like a fool!!

I'll update if I get reply..
