BACKFIRE!! Anoying!

Ok this is recently happing!
when i step on the gas abit and then the rpm starts lowering from 5 or 4 down to 2
i start hearing LOTs of backfire like its bubbling and its anoying!
whats it from
and what should i do to eliminate it

it is normal if you got after market CAT back or free flow exhaust system.

depends on the exhaust... VW do that popping thing a lot when using the DTM style mufflers and such things.

also check for exhaust leaks...

mine only does a big backfire if i touch the throttle a bit when the revs are coming down. specially in 3rd gear at 5000+

i think M is right!
i have a free flow and plus i have fast cams,
he pointed that out for me on msn
