just checking to make sure i dont do it wrong, i got ngk 's , just screw em in and attach to spark lead, no little tricks? cheers guys

No tricks - if they're the right ones (BPR6E or BPR6ES) theyll screw in without a problem.
Just get them nice and tight with the socket and clip the wires back on
Enjoy the better performance!

Get them to hand tight and then give them 1/4 turn more. That should be just about the right amount of torque.

don't forget to gap them correctly before installation... 0.8mm for the 1.5 SOHC or 1.1 for the 1.6 DOHC.

depending on how wrong they are; symptoms can vary from a little hesitation in idle up to noticable loss of power.

.8mm is a different measurment than 44 thousandths of an inch. .8mm is about 31 thousandths of an inch. I was told to gap at 35 thousandths.

you really won't notice a difference in that much gap change. anything closer to a 1/100th of an inch is where you start to see changes. if it's too close, you won't get a good burn and you'll fry the plugs, if the gap is too large it won't spark effectively and your engine will studder or even misfire
