is it associated with black smoak from the exhaust for a second or 2?
is the startup fine when the engine was just turned off or car left for some 24 hours?
is the startup problem a bit better when car is beeing started with WOT?

if all the questions are answered with yes then you got leaky injectors.

My car has a diff symtom with the starter, the car starts fine.

But when the starter is busy with starting the car there's a grinding noise coming from the starter.

Maybe the starter is going bad?

what can it be?

thanx 8)

maybe it is the starter soilenoid going out, the part that kicks out the mesh gear to engage flywheel, it could be spinning in place,or kicking out just enuf to barely nick the flywheel, and the longer you turn that key, the more time the gears have time to grab aholdof the flywheel to finally stop the cra.. if you want a test. take the starter off, turn it upside down, take jumper cables and put on pos =pos and neg on but don't put the neg on and touch the side of the starter, if it kicks out and turns, its not that its the motor or you have a chipped flyuwheel!! trust me :P

if you do what lanowoo said make sure you have the starter firmly held still by a bench vise or it could possably spin out if controle and hit you, or it could spin an hit something else and damage the starter
