also, the part you have listed as the rear motor mount is the lower alternator bracket.
Garrett
I bought it before I got the hatchback to put into the white sedan I had before I got rid of it.
It was guaranteed to run and I was told it has 32K miles on it. It has been sitting in storage for almost 2 years though. I do go in and manually crank it every so often and put a few drops of oil in the cylinders so the rings don't dry-rot.
wolfsreign wrote:CAI how does it sit? it looks like it goes into the hole into the wheel well?
the valve cover gasket.. missing the 2 bumps on the passenger side? and is it upside down T or just | ??
~wolf
The CAI goes down into the wheel well. It is braced off one of the existing studs that the original airbox used.
As for the valve cover gasket, if you look at the picture you can see the two bumps are there. It's all one piece.
Not sure what you mean by a T or an I ? I purchased this for a 2000 Lanos.
mhmm.. gross no ty on the CAI
the valve gasket.. the one i got when i rebuilt my engine is a | type.. the stock gasket was an upside down T . yours looks like a T but i cant tell from the shadow.. and the two little bumps, i mean are the fat plugs near the coil pack. they dont seem to be attached to the gasket in the picture....
