Hello from Finland
Here?s some pics of Opel Corsa A GSi turbo. It?s based on E16SE engine and on dyno it pushed 275HP at flywheel.

Don't you mean C16SE.... which is the 8V cousin of the Lanos and Aveo engines??OPOWER wrote:Here?s some pics of Opel Corsa A GSi turbo. It?s based on E16SE engine and on dyno it pushed 275HP at flywheel. http://www.opelclubfinland.net/forum/vi ... 90&forum=4
Very nice setup.... I've allways liked the Corsa.
WooHoo... a 16V isn't going to make all that much more power than an 8V.
He's probably running a custom 8V camshaft
Impresive numbers...
Erfinder: with that same bottom and a good 16v head i bet i can beat that
I love Corsa A's i've seen a couple of those crying to have a good owner

E16SE
Actually it?s based on E16SE, earlier model of C16SE. The camshaft and valves are stantard. Head is slightly ported. Low compression racepistons from Wiseco, and custom made steel conrods in the bottom. KKK k16 turbo, running 25 psi boost does the job. I believe it?s capable for over 330 hp, but the injectors I used were too small. I have to get bigger ones. Steel flywheel, cintered clutch and F28-6 speed with custom steel driveshafts will have to cope with the power. It now revs easy to rev limiter in 6th gear, 270km/h. So maybe I need some bigger wheels as well.

This is very nice indeed!!!
Too bad I cannot bring my GsiTurbo over there, we would have a nice race
Excellent job!!!
Out of curiousity, how does it work with the local emmission laws? I have a friend in Sweden, and from what I understand he has to remove the turbo setup from his C20NE turbo Kadett once a year.

Perhaps we could meet halfway, maybe in Iceland, and have a race there . Sure it?s difficult, once a year the car has to be taken to inspection and it has to pass the emission test. I?m using fully programmable engine management system and there?s special program in ECU every time the car is tested. So basically, we cheat the inspector.
this is cheating and you will go to hell for that ... nice idea though
