the 1.6 lanos should easily reach in excess of 120mph... the 1.3 gets to just under 115mph.
Cargo cultism is a beautiful thing as long as you never fall for it.

btw, the manual says that it can get 105mph idk r u wrong, or manual

Top speeds are never correct in those manuals.
And there was a 1.3 in the UK

1.3 or 1.4... its all the same 1349cc engine, for which the stated top speed is 103mph, and obviously it can go plenty more than that with a little de-restriction

and yes i know i got no coolant think water pumps gone (seal.hose or pump itself?), need to clean air filter

The metal Thermostat housing, on the left side of the head, with the hose going to the top of the rad.
A lot of lanoses came with a plastic one which breaks easier afaik
