Hey all, I'm planning on putting my cone filter down in the quarter panel next to the air box and removing the box in that panel.
I was planning on taking out the panel filter and just running the cone to the bottom of the stock air box via some piping into the quarter panel.
I was then going to use some more piping to to make a CAI to the cone. Is there anything that could be a problem with this? (I am putting it there as in my state you have to have a pod fully boxed and secured so hiding it is easier )

i don't see a problem... but i prefer that you extend the piping from the TB through the hole underneath the air box and put the filter behind the bumper... something like this setup:
atm mine is just attached to the stock fabric/rubber pipe off the airbox. should i put a pipe through the middle of the box to connect the pipes? (See below)
Also, what is the purpose of these? Just to reduce noise? Would it affect the engine if i blocked them off? (See below)
