Aveo exhaust + header

hey guys, i am goin to be redoing my aveo's exhaust sometime later this week. So far i have the DVS 4-1 header, a magnaflow cat (#91005), and a magnaflow XL muffler (#13235). What size piping do u think would be best for this setup? and do u think i will need a resonator? if so what would you recomend? i wanna get the exhaust done right the first time so i dont have to spend any more time or money than i have to.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 2.5"

Personally, I think you will need a resonator. You'll be very loud and suffer on lowe end torque without it, espeically since you're pulling the first cat out of the system (the new header doesn't have one)

As for a brand or model, just pick what you want. Most of them are just glasspacks anyway. If you had a good amount of money and wanted an awesome one, get the FLowmaster Hushpower model

what if i put something like this in before my other magnaflow muffler.

and do u think the 2.25 inch pipe size would be way to big? should i go down to 2 inch?

Audacity would know better than me but I'd think since you already have headers a 2" would be better...I don't see any performance gains with 2.25 over 2" plus it'll cost more, weight a tiny bit more, and be louder.

i have the gravana intake, new plugs, wires, and a ground kit. nothing to major. i want to try and do some more things but idk how much i can do before i will have to mess around with the computer. maybe cams later on?
