I've reinstalled it about 20 times...seriously. I haven't been able to drive my car for more than a day in about a month. I've also spent over $400 on new lines and kits and I keep running into one problem after another. It took me about 4 months to located all the parts I needed after the first time it broke cuz boshart motorsports doesnt return phone calls or emails to simply tell me where they got some of the parts.
The lastest problem is a leak..right where the oil comes out of the block into the relocator and into the lines...everythings tight and it still leaks. I had the problem before and found a hair line crack on it which is what I think it was leaking from, bought a new one...just installed it. I didnt over tighten the hoses at all (if anything I under tightened them to make sure I wouldnt crack it) and it leaked...so I tightened them with a little force but not too hard..it still leaked. I cranked them down as hard as I can and it still leaks. It appears there maybe another hair line crack where the oil might be coming from (its impossible to tell cuz it comes so fast).
What the hell is wrong here? Why does it keep cracking even when I dont tighten it much?

...No. How do you do it with a new filter? I've never actually had to do an oil change untill recently as I got them free from a company I worked for a few years ago...but they stopped giving them to me about a month ago.Audacity Racing wrote:Are you smearing new oil on the mating faces before you install it?
New oil on the surface (much like what you do to a new filter) helps it seat and seal properly
I'll check that.GsiTurbo wrote:There definitely must be an O-ring between the sandwich plate, and the oil pump. Make sure the ring's diameter actually matches the flat surface on the oil pump...otherwise its not really sealing.
I'm probably going to put the oil cooler on hold as I need my car to frinish the body kit...then when thats dont I gotta buy new wheels and redrill my hubs and I gotta do this all in 3 weeks!
Thanks guys
