Questions about pistons comp. for turbo cars

Today I found out that the cobalt SS have 10:1 pistons I though that comp was too hi for a turbo or a SS car but they run the car 8psi stock and 12 psi with the same pistons. That can have any neg. side?

The Cobalt SS Supercharged version has 9.5:1 comp pistons.

Probably forged pistons and I'm sure the tune is very good since it's factory...with a good tune you can run higher compression...it's just like with increased boost...you need a better tune to be safe the higher you go. A good tune can get you running 4 psi but to run 20 psi you're gonna need a much more refined and detailed tune.

is 10:1 as "junito chk in the dealer book. And yes tey are forged. By the way same size as the nubira.
