Hi,

Maybe you have to remove front right wheel for better access.
I don't own a Lanos and maybe someone else can help you better.

did you loosen the tensioner all the way?
is your belt the correct size?

Compare if old and new belts are of same sizes as MM said. What is written on new belt?
I don't think that you have to use brute force to put a new belt in the grooves IF the tensioner is fully slackened.

You wrote in another post that you get noise from this belt. This can be from tensioner pully too.

Check your PM box.
