Nonono, don't put the oil in that one, there should be a plug on the top side of the gearbox, well when i say plug it's usually a bolt. Not 100% sure 'bout a lanos, one of the other guys will be able to confirm this, but as far as gm gearboxes go this is the only way i've ever put oil in a gearbox, by taking the bolt out and pouring it int here.
on the lanos you can unplug the vent tube and add oil there on the auto tranny. But you have to have the car sitting level and remove the plug on the lower side of the tranny...cause you pour the oil in until it seeps out of that hole and when it seeps out it means the tranny is full.
