Nubira 2.0 AT to MT
Does anyone know what tranny the AT in the US Spec Daewoo Nubira is?
I was hoping it is the same 4t40-e as in the Lanos 1.6 AT.
Can anyone let me know?

It should bolt right up as far as I can tell.
Given the Lemans came with both a 1.6L and 2.0L engine I would guess the Lanos & Daewoo transmissions are exactly identical from the stand point of bell housing and shaft size.
Don't quote me on this... I don't know much about the auto tranny... I've only researched manual 5spds ( and one 6spd )

Yes, but...daewooluvr wrote:ok next question.
If an engine was hooked up to an Auto Tranny, can a Manual tranny bolt right up?
The only diference between the manual and autotranny are the driveshafts and CV joints...
the Auto tranny use shorter driveshafts because the transmision box itself its bigger... the manual box on the other hand is smaller so needs longer driv shafts to fit properly... i really dont remember the diference of the CV joints but they're diferent...
Efrain.
