Whats the go?
i have a 98 leganza 2L auto and it sometimes seems to slip into neutral. Its hard to explain but you cruise along in drive than the motor starts spinning freely untill you put it into neutral and back into drive. Whats it doing and whats wrong with it?The car gets thrashed so im not surprised its screwing up but i dont know whats wrong....

It could jst be the solenoid that opperates the clutch, if it is faulty , it might cause the tansmission to slip, I have seen this on many of the newer civics. There is a solenoid that controls the pressure in the transmission which opperates the clutch. If you can get a diagram of the auto trans, try taking it out and cleaning it, it migth have a lotof gunk in there. If you can't do it, you should tak e it to a dealer or a mechanic.
