Heya,
Was thinking of doing a little project on my tranny since i busted my 2nd gear syncro anyways. Now tell me would doing this be good?
1.)I wanted to swap my 5spd tranny for a other 5spd tranny from a nexia GTX (wich is shorther but dno how much yet)
2.) i wanted to install a lanos 1.5 flywheel (as i heard they where lighter?)
Now considering the 1.6 flywheel is ssoooo difrent the clutch wont fit i geus... now wich could i get dont want to get a other clutch that fly's appart :s (had it on a nexia gtx engine once using a 1.5 lanos clutch)
Also do you think this would improve my accel a bit? cuase i want to beat my m8's honda civic again (he modded his engine a bit)
Hope i get some feedback
little project?

hmm today i looked at the gear ratio's... to my suprise only the endtransfer(not sure if this is correct english word) is difrent Lanos 1.6 has 4.176:1 and nexia GTX has 4.19:1 .... now i need to figure out if the GTX had a short ratio or wide ratio tranny...as it felt shorter but not much so its prolly only that :s
this kinda blows my expectations away unless the tranny proves to be a short ratio :s
btw short is good for street driving/racing right as it will improve my accel power? dont care about drag or anything i want to get faster out of curves
EDIT:How can i c if the tranny is wide or short ratio? looked on it only states F16... so where and how should it state wide or short?
