Why not go with discs?

Your building this car for racing right? What tire size are you going with?

Yeah.. i mean.. im guessing w/ a lanos since its gonna be a track car i will be pretty light and maybe there is no need for a disc brake since its such a small/light car.. but still....

the disk got way less tendancy to fade under heat so it will be better specially during racing.

Yeah i wasnt sure about that.. i just knew discs were better.

What kinda racing are you gonna be doing anyways?

If he's just doing auto-x he may not even need brakes. I've seen plently of people do 3-4runs on an 60second auto-x cross and put there hand directly on the rotor cuz they dont even need to use the brakes.
