Rear Brake Drum

It has been a year since I drove this 2002 Lanos and till now, I still cannot figure out how to take out the rear brake drum. First, I had jacked up the car, removed the wheel. Released the handbrake, but I cannot find the screw that secured the drum cover.

I was told to remove the centre small cap.

Can anyone kind enough to guide me how to remove the rear drum cover ??

if you have ABS you have the screw

if you don't... you must remove the split pin and the wheel nut.





also, be sure to release the parking brake and press the brake pedal 10-15 times to release the pressure of the shoes on the drum (with the car off)
