it was argued with one of my friends that bleeding the brakes doesn't require the engine to be running - for activating the booster - but my friend says that when he did a bleed with the engine on the results were far better.
what do you think guys? is a running engine a good thing to have for a successful brake bleed??
N.B: we are discussing non ABS brakes.

i never did it with the engine on. i would think it would be maybe easier because you dont really need to pump because of the booster, but i'm normaly not the one pumping the brake so i dont care.
