Coilover Suspension for Daewoo cars
Who would be interested in a real Coilover suspension for the Daewoos?
It's for the Lanos but I think the Nubrira and possibly the Leganza use the same style of suspension. ( not sure...does anyone know? )
I'm guessing at a ballpark price but I think it will end up around $1000 USD for a set of front and rear adjustable ride height components.
I'm presently in the middle of setting up a Canadian Distributorship so I can't really give details on the manufacturer quite yet.... all I can tell you right now is that it's made by a world class European company.
I don't have an exact picture but this is an example....
Let me know who is seriously interested, I will probably only import as many as I have orders for and I don't imagine I will be doing orders from Europe all that often.

I'm going to try and get a set for my Lanos to make sure they fit right and are a good coilover setup.
If everything is perfect I will setup a post in the group buy area of the forum.

Ok... another update.... the manufacturer has two different coilover kits and the more expensive one which is about $1350 USD features the following:
This suspension kit is equipped with special yellow Koni shock absorbers, which can be externally adjusted (dampening pressure).
As a basic setting the coilover suspension kit systems are tuned; neither too soft nor too hard compared to original shock absorbers and will fill the sportingly ambitious driver with enthusiasm in every respect.
Here the drivers have the possibility to tune their vehicles individually by the dampening or rebound adjustment.

They are good brand name in Europe but I don't think they sell much here in North America so you may not know who they are.daewooluvr wrote:Well if they're a good name brand then yes, I would be interested.
Yes, all parts you see are included in the pricedaewooluvr wrote:I would assume they include the shocks/struts given the price

This the front strut from my Astra;
These are the same as the Nubria's. Make sure that any coil over kit you get has the steering arm relocated lower down, otherwise on a low ride height setting you'll get bump steer. At the rear, on beam equiped cars, the shock mount on the beam needs to be strengthened to take the loads from the coilover. The upper part of the shock turret will need to be 'adjusted' to allow clearance around the top of the coilover.
Hope this helps.
