Aftermarket Steering wheel

Post by Bringrice »

Ok so I get one of those cheesy and equally illegal Tenzo-R aftermarket steering wheels for my lanos. Gets here and totally forgot to get te hub. So i wanted to know what is the probability that this hub, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 2428662039

will fit on the steering column on my 2002 Daewoo Lanos?

Does anyone know the diameter of our steering wheel bolt pattern? If it is 70mm (2.75"), then I think we could fit these hubs on our steering wheels

Yea I know I should just update my original post...

Here is a list of steering columns the hub adapter fits on:

Can anyone recognize any similarities with a car that possibly has the same hub as us? (Pontiac Sunfire? Cavalier?)

All the Chev and Pontiacs seem to use the 2401 so I would guess that it should be the same. Pontiac Lemans=Pontiac Optima = Daewoo Lanos

If I had specs on the piece I could probably whip one off on my lathe.

I've never had an aftermarket steering wheel so I'm not too sure what all is involved.

Sparco makes one for the Daewoo Nexia which is supposed to fit exactly. My friend Judy down in NC changed hers and she said that the stock steering wheel hub was tack welded on. So that took some work to get off. Then she finds that the new hub needs some work to fit on. Eventually they did get it on and it works fine now.
